Bellevue Bamboo is owned and operated by Bruce Magnotti and Simonne Garrigues. This couple has decades of nursery and landscaping experience. Bruce began working as a nurseryman for James Flavell, at Caldwell Nursery in the mid 1960's. James Flavell was in his 80's at the time so obviously is not there any longer, though the nursery is still in the same location on Passaic Avenue in Caldwell, New Jersey. From Caldwell Nursery Bruce was hired by James Fenn also in Caldwell, New Jersey and worked for him until the late 1960's.  James Fenn was a landscaper and designer for many years and worked for all the Mafia families in Northern New Jersey.

Bruce started his own landscaping business in Wenatchee, Washington in 1972 and evolved that business into a large scale commercial irrigation company called Water Works Irrigation and Sales. When he returned to school and moved to Ellensburg, he operated a small landscaping business throughout his years at Central Washington University, from 1979 until 1984. He also designed, installed, and maintained domestic sprinkler systems.

In the 1990's in Ellensburg, Bruce designed a unique and sturdy design for perimeter fencing and began to build fences and gates as well as designing and creating raised bed garden systems for both flowers and vegetables.

Bellevue Bamboo is licensed by the State of Washington, bonded to assure the work gets done as agreed, and insured against liability for up to 3 million dollars. Our state license number is SEATTB*913ML
